
CHERRY
Garbagna is a charming village nested in the hills of Piedmont, well-known for its extraordinary cherries since ages. The “Bella di Garbagna” cherry is the masterpiece of the local production. It is the classic “Ciresa” (“Cherry” in our dialect) suitable to be soaked in alcohol.
Sweet and crunchy it preserves perfectly in alcohol, without flaking and maintaining its consistency and flavor. The “Bella di Garbagna” is nowadays a Slow Food Presidium and the main ingredient for our Boeri.

HAZELNUT
The Piedomont I.G.P. Hazelnut is unique in the confectionery tradition and by time the most beloved for the delicacy of its flavor and for its unmistakable aroma.
The Bodrato craftmen dip it in the best chocolate blends which creates a mix of balanced and extraordinary flavors.

ORANGE PEELS & LEMON
The Italian sun and soil make our citrus so special and demanded all over the world. Our craftsmen use citrus from Italian plantations only.
The valuable Bodrato’s chocolate envelops the candied orange and lemon peels in an exquisitely balanced contrast of sweetness and sourness.

COCOA
The Cocoa origins (Theobroma Cacao) are to be found in the tropical regions of Venezuela, Honduras and Mexico, particularly in the valley of the Ulua River.
Today cocoa is cultivated with care and passion all over the world, among Equator.
Bodrato has chosen to enhance the precious South American cocoa plantations committing itself to protect the biodiversity of seeds. This ambitious project led to the creation of the Bodrato Single Origin dark chocolate bars: from Peru 70%, from the Dominican Republic 78% and 89% from Ecuador.

HUEHUETENANGO COFFEE
Introduced in Guatemala by the Jesuits in 1773. The Huehuetenango coffee is still harvested by hand and afterwards hand-crafted in order to preserve all the fragrance of its berry. In 2002, the Slow Food association has restricted the area of production to the high seas crops and thanks to an accurate process of mapping and tasting, the area involves today about 170 small producers
Bodrato makes this bean as the precious ingredient of a special Praline, which is balanced and intense in taste and prepared with the finest handed down ingredients.

MINT OF PANCALIERI
Pancalieri is a village in the surrounding of Turin, worldwide well-known as “The Capital of Mint”. As a matter of fact, in this area the records show the largest production of peppermint in Italy and Europe.
Bodrato has created a peculiar Praline, characterized by the prickly aroma of the Mint, obtaining a mix of unforgettable flavors.

Matcha Tea
Matcha is the finest Japanese Green tea and it has the highest percentage of antioxidants. It is universally known to be the symbol of the traditional tea ceremony so called cha no you. Its fine green powder is obtained by grinding the leaves of the plant after having steamed and dried them.
The unique flavor and aroma of the Matcha tea are the protagonist of the special Bodrato’s pralines.

MALDON SALT
The Maldon salt is a native of the small town of Essex, in England. The crystals of the Maldon salt appears in delicate flakes and not in small cubes as in the common salt that we regularly use when cooking. Its delicate flavor and the slight crunchiness have turned it into a great ingredient used by the most famous MasterChef.
The flavor crystals of Maldon harmoniously balance the sweetness of the Bodrato’s Cremino.

PECAN NUT
The pecan nut (Carya illinoensis) is native of North America and is rich of monounsaturated essential fats and minerals.
Its flavor is full and buttery; Bodrato makes use of this excellent ingredient for a special chocolate bar enriched by this peculiar fruit.

ALMOND
The almond is a fruit symbol of the South of Italy, particularly of Sicily. Its culinary use is well-known all over the Mediterranean area.
The most esteemed Italian Almonds prepared by the Bodrato’s craftsmen are covered by a very fine dark chocolate and cocoa powder.

COCONUT
The Palm tree fruit (Cocos Nucifera) is the symbol of the Pacific Islands. Today it’s widely cultivated in India, Thailand, Mexico and Brazil.
Rich of minerals and antioxidant, the coconut is the protagonist of a lively flavor chocolate bar, where Bodrato blends the sweetness of this tropical fruit with the nicely complemented notes of licorice at the end.

STARANISE
It is a tropical fruit native of Asia from the characteristic shape of a star; its aroma is intense and biting.
Bodrato’s craftsmen created a lively taste dark chocolate bar, inspired by anise combined with coffee bean, the unforgettable Italian classic digestive.

LICORICE FROM CALABRIA
The DOP licorice from Calabria spontaneously grows along the Italian coast. Its consistency is rich, black colored, very scented and of a light bitter taste.
The licorice from Calabria is the protagonist of a lively chocolate bar where the notes of the licorice are enriched by the sweetness of the tropical Fruit.

ALKEKENGI
The Alkekengi grows in Europe and in Asia and thanks to its medicinal properties is cultivated since the ancient times its fruits are like a small cherry and its taste is similar to the raspberry and to the red tomato.
Bodrato’s white chocolate creaminess and the valuable taste of the IGP Piedmont Hazelnut are slightly balanced by the lashing freshness of the Alkekengi.
